DermDirect provides medical care, not elective aesthetic services.
Medical dermatology at DermDirect is designed to evaluate and treat health concerns — from acne and rashes to skin cancer screenings — with a focus on evidence-based care and accessible pricing.
Med spas, in contrast, typically offer cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, laser treatments, or facials — often for appearance-enhancement purposes, and not for diagnosing or managing health conditions.
You will receive a copy of your receipt of payment at the time of your visit, which you are welcome to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
No referral is needed. You can schedule directly with our medical dermatology team for any skin concern — whether it’s a rash, mole, ongoing breakout, or something new that you’re not sure about.
No. DermDirect medical dermatology services are not included in or billed under employer-sponsored healthcare agreements. These services are offered on a direct pay, fee-for-service basis and are separate from your employer-covered care.
If you’re unsure whether your concern is best addressed through primary care or medical dermatology, our team is happy to help guide you before scheduling.
